Peningkatkan akses dan pemerataan pelayanan kesehatan berkualitas menjadi salah satu misi Provinsi Banten era Gubernur Wahidin Halim dan wakil Andika Hazrumy.
“Menjadi salah satu obsesi saya saat memimpin untuk membangun kesehatan dan pendidikan” ungkap Gubernur Wahidin Halim (WH)
“Kesehatan merupakan kewajiban pemerintah. Dimana pemerintah harus hadir dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Bagaimana mampu bersaing kalau masyarakatnya tidak sehat,” tegasnya.
Di bidang kesehatan, Pemprov Banten menganggarkan dana bagi pembangunan infrastruktur kesehatan sebesar Rp 125,10 miliar. Dengan rincian untuk pengadaan lahan rumah sakit Cilograng, pembangunan RSUD Banten, dan pembangunan rumah sakit jiwa tahap I. Berikutnya untuk pembangunan Rumah Sakit Malingping (poliklinik) dan pengadaan lahan 2 hektar untuk perluasan Rumah Sakit Malingping. (Adv)
