Dua Kecamatan di Lebak Terendam Banjir

LEBAK, BANTENDAY.co.id- Menjelang Lebaran Idul Fitri 1440, namun dua kecamatan di Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten malah terendam banjir akibat hujan lebat yang melanda daerah itu.

“Kami belum menerima laporan jumlah rumah warga yang terendam banjir juga korban jiwa,” kata Kepala Seksi Rehabilitasi Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Lebak Bernardi, Jumat (31/5/2019).

Banjir yang merendam dua kecamatan itu antara lain Kecamatan Sobang dan tersebar di Desa Ciparasi dan Sukajaya, serta Kecamatan Leuwidamar tersebar di Desa Lebak Pariang, Leuwidamar dan Wantisari.

Hujan berlangsung sejak pukul 20.00 WIB dan kemungkinan banjir terus melanda sejumlah desa lainnya.

“Kami sudah memerintahkan relawan kecamatan agar melakukan evakuasi guna membantu korban banjir,” ucapnya.

Menurut dia, banjir yang merendam sejumlah desa di dua kecamatan itu akibat luapan sejumlah sungai. Pihaknya sejauh ini belum terjun ke lapangan.

Berdasarkan informasi dari relawan, ketinggian air mencapai satu meter. Namun, tidak tertutup kemungkinan volume banjir terus meningkat, sehubungan hujan masih berlangsung.

“Kami berharap warga yang terdampak banjir agar waspada dan segera menyelamatkan diri ke tempat yang lebih aman,” katanya.

Ia mengatakan, saat ini hujan lebat terjadi di kawasan hutan konservasi Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak (TNHGS) sebagai hulu sungai Ciberang dan Cisimeut.

“Kami akan bergerak besok pagi untuk menyalurkan bantuan evakuasi dan penyaluran logistik,” pungkasnya. (Antara)
