LEBAK, BANTENDAY.co.id- Jujun (25) seorang karyawan pabrik Kelapa Sawit PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII (Persero) Kantor Induk Kebun Kertajaya di Desa Leuwiipuh, Kecamatan Banjarsari, Lebak tewas setelah tubuhnya terseret mesin fuel scrapper bat (karaypak) saat dirinya sedang bekerja, Sabtu (25/5/2019) sekitar pukul 10.00 WIb

Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun, kejadian tersebut bermula ketika korban sedang membersihkan mesin kelapa sawit. Saat membersihkan mesin dalam kondisi hidup, dan tiba-tiba ayah satu anak ini terpeleset, sehingga korban dan terseret fuel scrapper bar (karapyak) hingga korban pun akhirnya tewas. Korban merupakan warga Kampung Binglu RT 05/02, Desa Leuwi Ipuh Kecamatan Banjarsari.

Perwakilan keluarga korban, Mas’ud Sidik mengatakan, korban tewas saat sedang bekerja di pabrik Kelapa Sawit Kertajaya. Kabar tersebut di dapatkan dari pihak perusahaan, bahwa korban mengalami kecelakaan saat bekerja.

“Kalo masalah tuntutan kepada pihak perusahaan, kami akan melihat dulu seberapa besarnya kebijakan dari perusahaan dan ini akan dibicarakan nanti setelah jenazah di makamkan,” katanya.

Assisten tehnik pabrik Kelapa Sawit Kertajaya, Endi Suhandi membenarkan kejadian tersebut. Korban merupakan pekerja di perusahaan itu selaku mekanik, dan sudah bekerja selama sembilan tahun.

“Selama bekerja disini, korban tidak pernah melakukan kesalahan yang fatal. Kalo kejadian yang seperti ini baru kali ini,” katanya.

Endi menjelaskan, perusahaan memang sedang melakukan perbaikan mesin dari tiga hari yang lalu. Pihaknya sedang uji coba mesin tanpa beban.

“Saat itu, korban sedang membersihkan mesin saat posisi mesin sedang hidup, dia terpeleset dan terseret fuel scrapper bar (karapyak), disitu ada rekan kerjanya yang gak berapa jauh jaraknya langsung pencet tombol untuk mematikan mesin dan menolongnya. Tapi nyawa korban tidak tertolong,” ucapnya. (red)
