Pendidikan Berkualitas Harus Menjadi Prioritas

Serang, Bantenday.co.id – Penjabat Sekda Pemprov Banten Ino S Rawita membuka Forum Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) Bidang Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan tahun 2019 di Aula SMKN 2 Kota Serang, Selasa (12/03/2019). Turut hadir Ketua Komisi V DPRD Banten Fitron Nur Iksan, Kepada Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Banten Engkos Kosasih, Kepala KCD Se-Banten, para Kepala Sekolah, Dewan Pengawas, dan Organisasi Profesi Pendidikan.

Dalam sambutannya Pj Sekda Banten Ino S Rawita menyampaikan perkembangan Provinsi Banten yang sangat dinamis dan progresif, serta menuntut sebuah proses perencanaan yang mampu menjawab tantangan terkini serta mampu menyesuaikan dengan keterbatasan anggaran yang mengharuskan penyusunan skala proritas dalam perencanaan.

“Forum ini merupakan sebuah wadah bagimana kedepan pada tahun 2020 anggaran untuk pendidikan dan kebudayaan bisa proporsional, bisa merata dan dilaksanakan untuk kepentingan masyarakat banten,” kata Ino.

Menurutnya, sebagaimana arahan Bapak Gubernur (Wahidin Halim) dalam setiap kegiatan telah menetapkan arah pembangunan provinsi banten, dengan tiga program prioritas yaitu kesehatan, infrastruktur dan pendidikan. Dengan demikian diharapkan tidak ada prioritas daerah yang tidak teranggarkan termasuk anggaran pendidikan.

“Pendidikan ini merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia, oleh karena itu dalam rangka mengelola pendidikan jangan tangung-tanggung, bahwa pendidikan harus mampu melayani semua masyarakat termasuk di banten,” jelas Ino.

Ino juga menambahkan, terkait isu-isu faktual, harus juga menjadi perhatian dalam merumuskan kebijakan pembangunan di tahun 2020. Sehingga program yang dijalankan benar-benar dapat menjawab segala permasalahan dan tantangan ke depan dalam menjalankan program program tersebut.

“Ini kesempatan yang baik berkumpul semua, organisasi yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan, para pengawas sekolah, para pejabat pendidikan bicarakan bagaimana penganggaran yang dilakukan pada periode tahun 2020 termasuk program-program unggulan yang dibuat oleh Pak Kadis dan jajarannya ini harus benar-benar efektif dan efisien,” ucapnya.

“Saya yakin selama pembiayaan yang diusulkan oleh dinas pendidikan dan kebudayaan efektif dan efisien, fokus terhadap program yang dilaksanakan saya kira Pemprov dan DPRD akan mendukung kebijakan tersebut,”sambungnya.

Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Banten Engkos Kosasih menjelaskan, dalam forum organisasi perangkat daerah yang diadakan dinasnya, akan mengkoreksi serta mengevaluasi berbagai program yang selama ini telah dan akan di jalankan, diantaranya zonasi penerimaan siswa baru, penguatan perbukuan, peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik, penyediaan dan peningkatan sarana dan prasarana sekolah, revitalisasi pendidikan vokasi.

“Pada tahun 2018 kami telah melakukan MoU dengan perusahaan, ini adalah tindak lanjut dari pada program pendidikann vokasi. Tahun 2020 akan kami tingkatkan baik jumlah perusahaan maupun kualitas dari kegiatan kerjasama ini. Baik kerjasama dibidang keselarasan kurikulum, kegiatan magang termasuk rekruitmen lulusan sekolah khususnya SMK,” ujarnya.

Terkait program kemajuan kebudayaan Engkos mengatakan, berdasarkan UU nomor 5 tahun 2016 tentang kemajuan kebudayaan yaitu harus berfikir dan membuat program kegiatan untuk kepentingan kebudayaan berdasarkan kepada pemanfaatan kebudayaan, pelestarian dan perlindungan kebudayaan dan pembinaan kebudayaan.

“Kebudayaan kedepan akan lebih kepada pembinaan dan adanya penguatan-penguatan baik program kegiatan bahkan termasuk anggarannya,” kata Engkos.
