Tangerang – Gubernur Banten Wahidin Halim membuka forum penyamaan persepsi dengan aparat penegak hukum, auditor dan steakholder dalam rangka penanganan kasus dan pencegahan tipikor pengadaan barang/ jasa di perintahan provinsi Banten, Novotel, Tangerang, Rabu (23/1/2019).
Pada acara yang digagas Lembaga Kebijakan Pengadaan barang/ jasa Pemerintah (LKPP) tersebut, Gubernur mengapresiasi adanya forum penanganan dan pencegahan korupsi seperti ini. Menurutnya, penanganan dan pencegahan korupsi tidak cukup dilakukan sesekali melainkan harus terus menerus.
“Kalau boleh saya menganalogikan, Korupsi seperti saluran air, walau sudah kita bersihkan masih ada lumpur lumpur yang nggak bersih. Jadi harus kita bersihkan setiap hari,” kata Gubernur yang akrap disapa WH ini.
Dirinya pun berharap kedepan jajaran kepala dinas dan OPD yang ada untuk tidak sungkan berkonsultasi dengan aparat penegak hukum, hal ini dimaksudkan agar pelaksanaan pembangunan bisa dilaksanakan sebaik-baiknya.

Turut hadir pada forum tersebut Walikota Tangerang Arief R. Wismasyah, Bupati Lebak Iti Octavia, Bupati Tangerang Ahmed Zakki Iskandar dan perwakilan pemerintah Kabupaten/ Kota lainnya.
